I met my friend Mallorie Owens and her musician husband Dave when they moved to Anchorage from Texas a couple years ago. Mal won me over with her sweet nature and keen eye for photography, and we would be having coffee right now if it were not for the fact that her and Dave moved to Juneau and eventually back to the lower 48 to be closer to family.
Fortunately for me, Alaska’s beauty is calling Mallorie back for a visit. I will finally get to have that cup of coffee with her, but I’d be doing you a disservice if I didn’t tell you that she plans on doing fall photography mini-sessions in October in Juneau and Anchorage and you should be in front of her lens because her work is outstanding, check it out!
“I always aim to make my photo sessions as fun and painless as possible, that way everyone leaves with a smile on their faces (husbands included!). And no need to worry if you have kiddos that have a hard time sitting still, I have a degree related to early childhood development from The University of Kansas (Rock Chalk!) and I worked with children for years. I love to run around with them while we get some extra fun images of who they really are in that moment.” - Mallorie
Don’t miss out friends, the autumn leaves are on point for pictures this time of year. When was the last time you and your family got some pictures you can treasure forever?
